Well...after many years of being a fan..I finally got to see...SEVENDUST.

Last night totally kicked ass. I am still all hyped up. Matt and I got tickets online and drove to Hampton Beach to see the Sevendust show. Well, they are on tour with other bands too. They were okay.

Not only did the band rock, we met so many interesting people. I have seen my first mosh pit and body surfers. People dumped beer on my head, it was great. Similar to a very large keg party..minus the keg. I saw fights and people with bolts through their faces, pregnant women, old people, high schoolers who apparently stole some IDs, and a tall skinny white man who thought he was..well..not white. Heard him use the "N" word to another white homey.

Plastic beer bottles and cigarette butts completely hid the floor. Several people lit joints and Matt even said some of the larger men were doing lines of coke in the shitter. It was great. Like being in my early 20s. Like it should be. Even though I will be 25 in a few months...

Matt and I are getting along great. At the party on Friday, we had a little too much to drink and he stole me for some private time. We came to the intoxicated conclusion (well, I've been saying it all along) that because we know each other TOO well, we were better off as friends.

I didn't have the heart to tell him I don't find him attractive anymore.

He stood behind me the whole time at the concert because I was frightened of the pulsating, unpredictable crowd. I felt safe, just as it should be.

And we enjoyed the show. Wow. Can't stop thinking about how good they are live.
